The automobile and Fashion Museum is joining one more year to one of the most important cultural events of Málaga, “The White Night”. The date will be this Saturday 14th of May, in which the Museum is opening its doors in a special timetable from 20:00pm. until 01.30 am. That night, all of us will be the stars of the bright constellation of culture and art that is our city: Málaga. This year the MAM prepares an activity in Larios Street that will bring you to the “The street to the stars”. With the rise of the rock groups in the 60s, the need of a visual identification was developed. The skull appears in 1965 with the “Grateful Dead” album, a symbol that represented the excess, the danger and the rebellion included in this new musical expression and common in the rock stars. The skull traduces the transformation, the beginning of a new period in which coexisted with the hippie spirit and the Flower Power, the period of the most missed slogan: Make love not war! We present exclusively for “The White Night” eight spectacular skulls, each one with a message beside our gold Bentley upholstery in panther skin, decoration based on the taste of huge personalities of the underground and the music world.
