One more year, the Automobile and Fashion Museum is present in the XXXVIII edition of the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR) in Spain for introducing its new and innovative bids.
There were present the Mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre, the deputy Mayor of Productive Economy, Enterprise Promotion and Employment, María del Mar Martín Rojo, the President of Málaga Convention Bureau, Paco Quereda, and the Director of the Museum, Patricia Rueda Perelló.
Francisco de la Torre has highlighted: “This museum has seven years of story; it is very strong, original, with increasing interest on population, being well known outside of Málaga. This museum has added and adds a lot of visibility to the Culture of Málaga. Every year, this museum adds something new to the City.”
Afterward, he has given the floor to Patricia Rueda, Director of the Automobile and Fashion Museum, who has exposed some news: Opening on Mondays, Petfriendly day, Fashion book publication “The Show Must Go On!”, Digital Transformation and Spain in 600.
Briefly, she has commented that the Automobile and Fashion Museum is a space with an active function on the search of new progressive approaches and constant innovation. It is immersed in a Digital transformation Project in collaboration with a Company from Málaga: Aticco Software through the implementation of ERP and CRM systems.
Furthermore, she introduces “The Show Must Go on”, a book, where the history and the evolution of High Couture is narrated through the exclusive pieces of our collection, from ending of 19th century, where cosmopolitan culture was adopted by free and progressive women, until the 21st century, in which Fashion is pure entertainment.
In addition, from January 15th, the timetable is extended, being the opening hours from Mondays till Sundays, from 10 am to 19 pm. On this way, the Museum brings the collection to Málaga people and Tourists every day of the year, except on December 25th and on January 1st.
Last but not least, on the MAM have been implanted diverse approaches, being pioneers locally and nationally. From this approaches, it is born the Petfriendly Day. Day by day, that attitude increases and it is incorporated in entertainment facilities and the MAM will be the first cultural space enabling the entry of pets in Málaga. As Patricia Rueda indicated: “At cultural spaces pets access is not allowed, but in the Automobile and Fashion Museum, as well as in Europe, we bet to create a space of cohabitation, being agents and promotors of social change. ”
